I would say to younger me that you are not the problem. I would also say that to myself now! I hope at 41 that I’ll be more at home in myself having learnt the lessons from my annus horribilis. I also hope I have a dog and a published novel (gotta manifest that shit right!)

Which dog is the question?

I mean I am clearly a beagle fan but maybe a golden retriever or a corgi? To be honest, any dog will do.

I’ve always wanted a Samoyed! Corgis are great. Corgi butts

"What’s your view on time looking ahead?"

To answer that question I first need to tell you that my next 9 will be 59. That sounds like too many nines to me lol. But it's sobering to think about where I was at 39 compared to 49. Best life vs worst life ever. In a way, I can't wait til 59 because I can only go up from where I'm at right now.

I wish I could’ve put 30 so it sounded nice and round, so I blame my mum for that 😂

It’s mad how different we are decade to decade isn’t it? I’m glad you can go up from now. 💪🏼

Also glad you liked the article and my stream of consciousness about time. I get carried away when I have an idea / inspiration and literally can’t stop. I woke up today knowing I had to write this lol

Don't you just love days like that? You wake up CERTAIN what you have to write that day. Savor those days because they don't come along that often 😄

On a separate note, do you mind if I send you an email about this newsletter collaboration project I’m working on? I could do with some feedback from other authors!
